Fabric-Wise Care Instructions
Tailored maintenance rules for our signature handloom textiles
Pure Silk & Kanchipuram
- • Strictly Dry Clean only by luxury garment specialists.
- • Never hang silk lehengas on wire hangers; store flat.
- • Iron on low heat on the reverse side using a pressing cloth.
- • Refold every 4-6 months along alternate fold lines.
Zari & Maggam Embroidery
- • Wrap in pure, unbleached white muslin/malmal cloth.
- • Keep completely away from perfumes, deodorants, and alcohol sprays.
- • Never apply direct steam or iron over metallic zari or zardozi.
- • Store with silica gel packets to prevent metallic oxidation.
Organza & Chiffon Dupattas
- • Professional gentle dry cleaning only.
- • Avoid sharp jewelry friction while draping or folding.
- • Light handheld vertical steaming is safe from 6 inches away.
- • Roll onto cardboard fabric tubes to eliminate crease marks.
Silk Velvet & Brocade
- • Dry clean only; never submerge in water.
- • Never apply a flat iron directly on velvet pile (crushes the nap).
- • Hang with wide, padded satin hangers inside garment bags.
- • Brush gently in the direction of the nap with a velvet brush.
